About Eggslut, Las Vegas

Eggslut is a fast food restaurant in Los Angeles and Las Vegas known for its signature dish "The Slut", a coddled egg on pureed potatoes. The Grand Central Market in Los Angeles where Eggslut opened a brick and mortar shop, was named as one of the top 10 new U.S. restaurant's by Bon Appétit for 2014. The restaurant's name has been included in a list of risqué names by KCET and the New York Times, with Eli Altman stating that having a boring name may mean that an advertisement doesn't attract attention, and 65 percent of respondents of a KCET poll stating they would be more likely to visit a restaurant with a "gross name". Samuel Muston wrote that "Eggslut" falls into a category of "quirky" restaurant names, but that "the collision of the word 'egg' and 'slut' doesn't exactly encourage the appetite". In March 2017, Eggslut temporarily opened a pop-up concept store at Chefs Club Counter restaurant in Nolita, New York.

  • Don't let the wait in line fool you. By the time we got in line and the time we got our food was under 30 minutes. The cheeseburger was an amazing taste between the egg the beef and the bread and butter pickles. The orange juice is definitely fresh-squeezed. The only complaint? I mean I need a much larger cup of coffee. Definitely would be back.

  • Absolutely amazing! Had the Gaucho and it blew my mind. Long lines in the morning, but I avoided them by eating breakfast for dinner because I'm an adult and there's no one to tell me I can't.

  • Visited this place twice during the week I was staying in Vegas. First time the queue was about 30mins, second time about 10, but there are times where it's going to be much longer I assure you! Best times seem to be as soon as it opens or later in the afternoon. Imagine when people who have been out boozing until the early, they probably start getting up around 10am, so that writes off 10.30 > 12:30pm if you don't want a big queue in my eyes! Anyway, waiting aside the food is great. I had the cheese, bacon and egg sandwich (bread is a really nice soft brioche bun) with a hot coffee, all delicious. Check it out if you are in the area close to the Cosmo.

  • Super tasty breakfast sandwiches! I have been here a half a dozen times and the quality has always been spot on. $8 for a really good breakfast sando is not too shabby in sin city. There is always a line as well, but I have a feeling most people complaining about the line and prices are from a smaller town where they are not used to either. Something to keep in mind on these reviews... In my opinion, definitely worth a little wait and a stop to check this place out. Cookies are amazing as well.

  • Went here for breakfast with 2 of my friends during the week. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with spicy ketchup and a cold brew coffee. It was my favorite breakfast during my trip in Vegas. The prices were very reasonable. Definitely coming back! Since my friends and I went on the early side the wait was short and we easily found a place to sit.
