  • We've been to Morimoto once, and had a mixed experience. We ordered a tasting menu, so we got to sample a huge variety of the food. Most of what we had was great -- some items really felt worthy of an Iron Chef, while others seemed just fine but not special. The service was attentive and expert, with one major exception. The tasting menu, recommended by our waitress, was a bad choice. It was at least three times the amount of food we'd ordinarily eat when hungry. Consequently, we ended up just taking a few bites of several terrific dishes, especially the last to arrive, and I left feeling very overstuffed and a little unhappy about the experience. I would much rather have had a human-sized (and more reasonably priced) meal. Arguably we're responsible for ordering our own food, but we count on the wait staff for reliable information, and we didn't get it. We're visibly not huge people (my wife and daughter were also there), and we (I think reasonably) expected the tasting menu to involve lots of variety, but not nearly so much volume. That said, we'll probably go back at some point, and I'll revise this review accordingly.

  • Best filet mignon I've ever had. The steak was cooked perfectly and served at the perfect temperature. I'm sad that I won't be able to experience this great taste often.

  • Excellent Service, fantastic food, visually pleasing atmosphere, and an all around amazing expierence. Can't wait to go again!

  • Fantastic food and incredible service. Excellent way to spend an evening.

  • Despite a half empty restaraunt, the hostess tried to see me in the bar (which was empty). Had to ask for a seat at the bar and the waiter only showed up once to take my order. Sushi was just so-so. Nowhere worth the price of $50+ for three rolls and a Coke. Won't come back.
