The advertisement for this restaurant makes it appear to be adult-centric, but seeing it in person, it is basically a standard Mexican restaurant with the exception of a few female employees who wear short shorts. I'll leave it up to you to decide if this is a pro or a con. Our service was slow to start but fairly attentive after the meal was served. Our food was satisfying and the Mexican corn on the cob was particularly tasty. WARNING: This restaurant features a live 3-person band that visits tables and engages in "witty" banter and music. They are harmless enough, but overpoweringly loud. It actually impeded conversation at the table.
We love Tacos & Tequila! Every time we stay at Luxor, we usually eat here a couple of times (for lunch and dinner) The food is great! Good chips and salsa too!
Excellent Food. The guacamole was amazing but what we enjoyed the most were the margaritas. They are huge and you could really tastw the fresh ingredients in it. Will be back for sure.
Excellent food and the beat Margaritas anywhere. Everything is fresh and made to order. Worth the trip to grab some chips and drinks!
I had some guacamole and some enchiladas with my wife. We had it prepared veggie-style, and I'm actually very grateful for the server who let us know that the black beans are cooked with a pork stock - not vegetarian friendly. We asked them to hold the beans, and had a pretty middle-of-the-road enchilada and chips. I wouldn't ever want to spend *that* much on food again but it was ok once. The server had a pretty good knowledge of the tequilas available and recommended a pretty great one to me. My wife really loved the sangria. We went a little later than prime time so it was quiet - I'm thankful for that. Food came out quickly - service was great. I enjoyed the area, too - plenty of good people-watching!
