Room: bed is comfortable, and the room is clean, some art on the walls would do good. I saw they were renovating some rooms so maybe they will look better. Kitchen was well equipped. Pool area: the water in the pool was way too cold so no one wanted to swim, but the hot tub is nice. The pool is open until 10pm so you can chill by the hot tub at night too. The pool area was clean and there were lots of sunbeds. Hotel in general: Breakfast is very basic but it does it's job. Staff is friendly and helpful, except for the bartenders who we thought were very rude. The common areas are clean. Location: very close to the strip but still not in the middle, perfect for late night walks home. Easy to find.
I found Rita Suites a very good value. Rooms were clean and spacious. The maid service did a good job, and the complimentary breakfasts was well stocked. Easy access to the Strip and beyond was very helpful. I will definitely stay there on any future trips.
Basically, a run-down, dated motel being represented as an all-suite hotel. Furniture in the living/dining room area smelled like it was from an old-age home. Wouldn't sit on it; it was ripped and stained. Full-size refrigerator was good, bed was comfortable, carpeting was stained and nasty, bathroom was clean, and the location wasn't too bad. Beware of pictures posted because I think they have a "good" section and an "old, scroungy" section. We did not get the good section that was represented in the website pictures!
Needs updating BADLY. Super old, stained carpet and furniture. Our neighbors next to us were making super loud noises and ended up breaking one of their windows at 4am. The phone in our room didn't even work. Beds were comfortable for hotel beds, but the fitted sheet didn't fit, if you sat on the bed, it would fly off immediately. so we always ended up sleeping on the mattress. Its not a bad distance from the strip, but it is a bit of a walk if you want to get to the main attractions. Also had fees that weren't shown to us until we were purchasing the room.
My husband and I stayed here Sept. '17 for a night. We were disappointed with the customer service. I called ahead and asked if there was a pool and hot tub (even though I already saw there was online, I just wanted to check to be sure because we wanted to stay somewhere where we could swim) the front desk told me there was. The room was to be expected for the rate we got (cheap rate, cheap room), but we were disappointed to find the pool had a yucky film over it and the filtering system seemed to be out of order. The hot tub was cold and also seemed out of order. When we complained to the front desk they informed us the hot tub is seasonal (that would have been nice to know when I specifically called and asked). We were irritated that we paid a resort fee for services we didn't receive. In the morning when we spoke with the front desk (no manager on duty) he made excuses about it being too hot, (as if to say we were crazy wanting to use a hot tub) and that the resort fee covers free parking. For $70 more we stayed at the Trump hotel and received ten times the service (including their resort fee and taxes), their pool was clean and their hot tub in good condition.
