  • Be prepared to wait a little if you want a good picture. People will begin lining up if it gets crowded. (Or you can just hop over to the side and not get a straight on shot with people in the background). Also, I would suggest bringing some small bills along with you, especially if you go at night. There is usually a person there with a nice LED light that will take pictures (multiple poses) for you and your group for a small tip.

  • I gave this landmark 4 stars for it's historical aspect and the very nice gentleman that stands by the sign and helps you take the photos. I forgot his name but he was very entertaining and kind. There is usually a line but it goes fairly fast. I would suggest bringing water because it can get super hot during the day, while waiting for your turn. Heads up, there is another man dressed as Elvis, from what I heard, he can be inappropriate with women so, please be careful. I did not experience this myself but I was warned by a local.

  • Amazing experience. Lovely guy called dean there taking photos for everyone on their phones and making sure people get good photos. He took about 10 or so for us. Long queue for it but worth it. He also tells others on the side if they are stepping in to the middle too much, (those who have not queued). Well worth the $8 dollar bus ride there (for 24 hours bus pass).

  • Beautiful photo spot. I even saw some singing Elvis impersonators with whom you can take a picture. Be aware of a line of people waiting unless you come during a very early time of the morning. There was also a guy helping with pictures and he advised good poses for the shot. We came around 3pm and it was extremely hot and the wait in the line was about 20-30 minutes. But the heat made it feel like an hour, so bring water, a hat, and wear sunscreen.

  • Yes! We have all seen this iconic sign. I am sure this sign has had so many pictures taken of it that the flash's from the camera have caused light damage. This will be the sign that will make you really know where you are! It will really set the mood for you when you see it.
