With about 120 hectares of native vegetation which includes eucalyptus of various kinds and other threatened flora, this reserve and it's 15 kilometers worth of trails are the region’s foremost and the most popular bike riding area. This attention has only been recent, but people have been jogging, walking and taking their dogs out for a stroll here for a long time before that. You can easily spend an entire morning covering the trails. And while you can check out the trails slowly on your own, there are specific sites and places inside for which you may need either a map or a guide. The Launceston mountain bike club is an example of a bicycling tour provider here.
