Tucked inside the Snug Harbour Fortress, the Connie Gretz Secret Garden was created by taking an inspiration from the novel –The Secret Garden. The entrance to the garden is through a hedge maze and as the plaque outside the entrance depicts, it was created to teach people that although everyone has a secret paradise of their own, the path to the paradise is never straight and smooth but through a labyrinth of life. Encompassing over half acres, the Connie Gretz Secret Garden is designed in European style in which tangled boxwoods surround the hedge in the center. The paved paths through the maze will lead to the two storey high tower with spiral staircase and turrets. The rose beds and orchids are the highlights of the garden.
