South Park Wading Pool is a traditional place of downtown Lawrence where people frequently go to relax and play. The boundary of the pool is enriched with Roosevelt fountain, flower gardens and picnic areas. The pool is open to public in afternoon and the entry is free for all. The water of the pool remains clean and perfectly tempted. Lots of trees are lined through the walkways around the pool. Several benches are scattered in the park area to let the visitors relax and get connected with the nature. The west side of South Park Wading Pool Park is equipped with play structures, swings, and slides to let the children indulge in their games.
