Amazing to see the stores in person. Staff was super friendly. Merchandise was mostly reasonably priced for shirts and other souvenirs. Parking can be tricky if their lot is full- you have to park on the street if it is. Fairly easy to get in and out.
Fun place to visit. Been there only once but will for sure go back. Good eating places too. Sneaky Petes is a good place. Neat bath tub salad bar. Fun street to walk down town. Enjoy if you go.
I love the show "American Pickers" and this is the original store. I see stuff they picked on TV in the store. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I would love to meet one of them (or all) someday. It is my favorite show on TV.
Very friendly people behind the counter with whom I had a great discussion about a local craftsman from our area in Wisconsin. It wasn't quite what I expected though as far as antiques for sale. I thought there would be more items available for sale. This could be because of their popularity due to being on tv. Glad we stopped though. I would go back again.
Nice place to visit ,but the staff is a bit pushy I was looking for T-shirts and the lady at the counter insisted on doing it for me and I would normally appreciate the help ,but ended up with the wrong sizes. I guess I should have not been so confident that she was paying attention and double checked the sizes myself. I didn't notice the issue until I was back in NY. Just pick your own T's people or at least check the salesperson and make sure you got the correct size. Mike and Frank you should have the staff back off a tiny bit .
