  • Best to visit when closed. Unless you want to buy merchandise with their logo on it. I don't want to. Nothing they pick is really on display or for sale. It's cool to see and there are some neat photo opportunities. Can't spend a day there, even 6 minutes is a stretch. Do you watch the show ???

  • It was awesome seeing Frank and Mike's shop in person! I respect what these guys do and their job seems like a dream come true even though I'm sure they put a lot of work into gaining the knowledge and building relationships. I stopped here on my way back from the Grand Canyon to Boston over the summer. It's a lot smaller in person than it looks on tv but that's just how it is sometimes. I love their collection of items and the fact that people can come in and out as they please is fantastic, except when there are too many people at once. I wish I had bought something from them or met the guys themselves but it was great just seeing the items they have picked, especially the motorcycle they pulled out of the ground in western MA because that was a ton of work for them to dig out and a lot of work to have it restored. I'm glad they have their own show because I honestly love what they do and I like to go through old houses /yard sales / abandoned buildings, etc. to see what I find but I also love talking with people about the history and that has to be a great perk for this job! Sorry the review was more about the guys than the shop

  • We made a stop here on our way back from the west coast. We have been to their store in Nashville and it was a little underwhelming but the Iowa store, with the second building, was very nice. It's still a t-shirt, hat, coffee cup and magnet kind of place but it was very nice to see. We were told Mike was in town but liked his time off and didn't come into the store much and Dani would be in the next day for filming but wouldn't be available to the public. One guy was a little upset because everything he asked about was NFS, not for sale. The new second building really makes this place. You can see lots of items and remember seeing Mike and Frank buy them on the show. It did seem like most everything there was not for sale though unless, as the sales girl told us, we wanted to make a ridiculously high offer. It was much better than the Nashville store and we enjoyed our time there. My wife actually found a "smalls" item and was able to purchase it. If you are a fan of the show as we are the Iowa store is a must see.

  • Have watched the show from the first episode. First time at their store and it was awesome. Surreal almost. Lots to see and great things to remember. Prices on merchandise is t unreasonable. Plus they are real people. They have real stories. If time permits, ask questions, you will learn something new. Glad to have come and look forward to going back.

  • So here is the DEAL. If you are a fan of the Show this is worth a stop if you are in the area. It's cool to see the original building and some of the items from the show. Great place to grab some Souvenirs like Tshirts Magnets etc. They do have some stuff from the show for sale but you are talking Hundreds even Thousands for these items. The staff are very friendly and will even answer questions. Not much parking but the location was not very crowded. It's a little ways off of the Main Highway along the Mississippi River so it's a slight detour.
