Pont Flavien is a Roman Bridge built across the Touloubre River which stands as a spectacular work of art. The single-arch crossing was constructed with limestone and is the only existing example of a Roman bridge that is bounded by the triumphal arches. It dates back to the Augustan period and might have been built to replace a wooden structure on the site. Atop the bridge, you would be able to spot stone lions, most of which were destroyed and then later rebuilt. Pont Flavien on this day is reserved only for pedestrian usage and most people visit to admire the brilliant architecture.
