The Cedars of Lebanon State Park covers an area of 900-acres and features rare plants and rock gardens while also offering fantastic opportunities for riding and hiking. The park has been named for the Eastern Red Cedar trees that can be found throughout the area. The 8 miles of hiking trails meander through the glades and the cedar forests and while hiking on any one of the trails, you might even catch a glimpse of the deer, fox, rabbits, squirrel and turkey. There are 117 campsites all of which are equipped with electricity and water hookups. Picnicking is also a popular activity at the Cedars of Lebanon State Park and you can find grills, picnic tables and shelters that can be reserved for events.

Cedars Of Lebanon Reviews & Ratings

  • Tent camped for 2 nights. Had an event about 25 minutes away, so I didn't spend much time there, but... It's beautiful. Clean well maintained bathroom and shower facilities. Affordable Water and electric at the site Huge parking spaces I can't speak for all the sites, but my site was a gravel pad. This is not an issue, but it's worth knowing ahead of time. If you're tent camping you will likely want to bring a base layer for under your tent for comfort sake, or be prepared to pitch it in the parking pad blacktop. You may also want to consider ways to weigh your tent down if staking it is not an option. I would absolutely stay here again.

  • I usually visit this park for the disc golf course which has recently been cleaned up and improved. The park itself has campgrounds and a cool nature center with reptiles that they let the public handle and watch feeding time. There is a cave onsite that has guided tours. The large swimming pool has been closed for renovations this season but should be back for 2020. The camp store is small but well equipped and the staff is very nice. There is no lake on this property which I've not seen in a state park before. That's the only reason I have for the 4 stars, but it's no fault of the park itself.

  • If you like nature a good place to visit for many experiences. Nature trails, bird watching, wild life and you can lease a cabin. You can plan and schedule day venues for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Went there for a wedding; had a great time.

  • Beautiful park. I was just passing through so I didn't have time to fully explore it. And I was drawn in by the allure of the cave. I wasn't dressed for spelunking so I didn't go far, but I will definitely return to fully explore it. Well maintained facilities. I saw cabins when I drove in. Definitely a nice place to take a break from the city. Also suggest the nature center there. The paths are varied in material with a little bit for all ages.

  • Great park, I've been going there for almost 40 yrs. When I was a kid my Mom & her closets friends would take all of us kids to play all day. I have wonderful memories of playing there with my friends. I took my boys there when they were growing up & now my oldest son takes his son there.
