Olton Hall is one of the best preserved structures of Leeds. Today, it is a Grade II listed building which had once served as the home of the Blayds/Calverley family. After a major fire in 1850 the Hall was restructured and today serves as a 4 star hotel in Leeds, part of the QHotels group. One of the ways to enjoy its historicity is through taking up a space over here during your visit to Leeds. Otherwise, you can just marvel at its historic structure by looking it from outside.

Oulton Hall Reviews & Ratings

  • A birthday treat - And it really was a treat. Dinner, bed and breakfast, with use of the spa. A spacious double room with a peaceful view. The bed was comfortable and the room had seating, a table and a desk-style sideboard. The room also had a mini fridge and a tray equipped for hot drinks. The restaurant was pleasant and efficient. I had the soup, braised tofu and the cheese board. All were excellent. At breakfast the choice was splendid. Breads, pastries, cereals, juices, fruit and yoghurt, accompanied by a cooked hot breakfast. Vegetarian options were also available. All of the food was superb. I also enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and steam room - The facilities and staff were great. I would visit again without hesitation.

  • Lovely place to stay. Great location for golf, 27 holes all in good condition some lovely views. Nice rooms, clean and tidy. Had use of all facilities, spa & leisure centre. Decent size pool with jacuzzi in one corner, steam room and sauna room and gym.

  • A delightful Hotel to stay. Beautiful surroundings, comfortable rooms, delicious food. My Husband and I had a wonderful stay

  • Lovely rooms and very nice staff. Some of these older buildings can feel like they have been poorly adapted but thus felt fine. I would check if you are looking for disabled access as there are a lot of steps and quirky lift system.

  • We checked into our room, and the receptionist was very nice and welcoming. She had a big smile and an incredibly positive demeanor! She told us all about the amenities including the restaurants. Unfortunately, when we arrived at our room, we discovered that the air conditioning wasn't working. We contacted the receptionist who assured us that she would have someone come check the climate controls. When we heard the knock at the door shortly afterwards, the receptionist surprised us by bringing us the keys to a larger room with air conditioning and an incredible view! What wonderful customer service! This is what makes five star service and will bring us back again.
