Pugneys Country Park is a beautiful 250 acre site which has two lakes, the largest of which is a 100 acre watersports lake. This offers its visitors for non-powered watersports such as canoeing, sailing and windsurfing. It also has a footpath which runs all the way around the lake and is approximately 1.6 miles long so you can easily run or take a leisurely stroll around it. The smaller of the two lakes is only 24 acres and is a nature reserve which is overlooked by 2 bird hides, enabling visitors to watch the neighboring wildlife in their own habitat.
