The Barber Motorsports Park is an immaculate multi-purpose racing facility that covers an area of 880 acres and has been the site for the IndyCar Series Grand Prix of Alabama since 2010. The park also includes the Barber Vintage Motorsport Museum. The track here is a classic example of how racing tracks should be designed and used. The track opened in 2003 and has a 2.38-mile, 17-turn road course that has been designed to run clockwise. Spectators here at the Barber Motorsports Park would be able to watch the race from the embankments or the temporary grandstands that are usually erected for race weekends. A souvenir and food vending area is right behind the grandstand.

Barber Motorsports Museum & Park Reviews & Ratings

  • What a wonderful place. The track is such a pleasure to ride. The grounds are better kept than most golf courses. The facilities are well kept too. Look around and see art everywhere!

  • I had an amazing experience here during the vintage motorcycle festival. The track is exceptional and the whole grounds are absolutely beautiful. It's beautifully landscaped and maintained.

  • Attended the Vintage Bike festival. If you love motorcycles you will love this event. Swap meets, bike shows, races! More than you can see in one day because the museum takes half a day. I'll be back again.

  • Barber Motorsports Park is a great, clean, nice, family friendly park! All events are smoothly ran and very organized! Very neat track full of metal statues as well!

  • In general - WOW!! 5+++ stars. Visited both the track and museum while there for a track day. The track is very impressive, fun, and one to come back to. The area everyone is clean, beautiful, with touches of art. Facilities were clean, cooled, and easy to find. The museum was overwhelmingly awesome! The connected bridges allow you to get very close to the track as a spectator! There is even a walking path between tracks that is shaded. Great to visit with your spouse for racing, and to bring the kids back to for a family day touring.
