House of General George C. Marshall, architect of The European Recovery Program and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, emerged as the hero during and after Second World War. This soldier and statesman who served in both the World Wars is largely unknown to the public. The house, which was known as Dodona Manor before Marshalls’ purchased it, is restored in such a way that history comes to life when you step in. Though the photography is not allowed in this historically significant house, you can take photos in the garden around to make your visit memorable. Visit this place and learn about its fascinating history.
