The historically significant monument, also known as Abbey of Saint Mary de Pratis, is in the Abbey Park in England. This eleventh-century establishment has a fascinating history. Founded in the late eleventh century, it became one of the wealthiest religious establishments around the fifteenth century. But, Cavendish House near the Abbey was set on fire during the Civil war in the sixteenth century and was never restored. The Leicester Abbey also went down on the same path after few decades and today, there are only remains of the history.
