Observe the native species of flora in a historical botanical garden like Hortus Botanicus Leiden. Since its development in 1590, it keeps varied species of plants such as carnivorous plants, cactus, succulents, orchids and others those can survive in extreme conditions. The plants which are available in God Southeast Asian jungle can also be found here. It has many topical plantations like pineapple, cinnamon, banana and cocoa. On one end of the garden, you will see some plants which are surviving for more than hundred years. There is a separate glass house in the Hortus Botanicus Leiden, which is used for growing winter plants those require more light. Besides, it has an open-air cafe offering refreshments.
