Le Ballon D'alsace also referred to as Alsatian Belchen at times is a mountain that offers fantastic views of the Rhine Valley, the Vosges, the Alps and the Black Forest from the top. It is a part of the Belchen system which is basically a group of mountains having the name Belchen. The magnificent mountain features alpine as well as cross-country skiing tracks which are what attracts a lot of people from far and wide.
