Don't spend your New year's eve dinner here! Не вздумайте проводить здесь свой новогодний ужин! If I could rate "zero stars", I would. I bought the “New Year's Eve dinner + champagne cruise” at this restaurant (it was a pack: dinner + cruise). The following is the description of what was happening at the restaurant during the dinner on 31 December. I want to appeal to the Supervisory authorities of France that such outrages never happen again. We came for the dinner on time, about 20:45. There were four of us. Dinner was supposed to start at 21:00, and at 22:45 we had to be at the pier for the cruise on the Seine. 1. Restaurant staff offered us a table where there were only two normal seats. The staff said: “No more seats and chairs, sorry”. Then staff put to this table two stumps. Yeah, that stumps of a tree! The area (about 20x20 cm) and height (around 30-35 cm) of this stumps was allowed to sit child only! We had a long discussion with the manager – we asked to bring normal chairs and also to move the nearby table so that we could sit. Manager didn't want to do that. Guests at the nearby table kindly offered to move their table, I thank them for that… Manager found the chairs and brought them to the table. The clock was 21:25… 2. As I said above, the clock was 21:25 but the buffet still had no appetizers, and only drinks were on the table. At about 21:45 appetizers had appeared at the buffet, and formed a long line after that. At 22:20 there were no main dishes, and the line had formed again. Line on the photo looks shorter than it actually is. Staff said: "We have no chef at the workplace, and we didn't expect so many guests. We'll cook something." At 22:40 grilled chicken breast appeared in the buffet. And that's all! And this chicken breast wasn’t enough at all. We didn’t have time to eat the main course because we were limited in time due to the cruise start. Dessert was not served prior to our departure from the restaurant to the pier. This service wasn’t provided properly and this is the fault of the restaurant. I want to appeal to the Supervisory authorities of France that such outrages never happen again. We paid exactly the same money as other guests but we were in a situation where it was not possible to relax properly (lack of normal seats; then baby stumps instead of normal chairs). Our New Year dinner was spoiled by the full disrespect of the staff and the late supply of food, in consequence of which we just didn't have time to have dinner. ---------------------------------------- Коротко по-русски: отношение персонала "никакое". Сначала на четверых дали столик, около которого было только два стула. Потом к столу приставили два пенька 20х20 и высотой около 30-35 см, но и на них невозможно было сесть из-за близко стоящего соседнего стола, двигать который персонал не хотел (подвинули сами гости, сидевшие за ним). После долгого скандала нашлись нормальные стулья. Этот спектакль занял 40 минут. Но цирк продолжился: подача блюд сильно задерживалась. Закуски были поданы лишь в 21:45. Далее ожидалось основное блюдо, но персонал сказал, что у них нет шеф-повара на месте, и что они не ожидали такого количества гостей -- и это при том, что количество проданных ваучеров явно было известно заранее! "Мы сейчас что-нибудь приготовим" -- сказали они! В итоге основное блюдо (куриную грудку гриль, которой на всех не хватило) принесли в 22:40, и мы просто не успели поужинать из-за начала круиза по Сене, купленного в пакете с этим ужином (в 22:45 мы должны были быть на пирсе). Напитки с собой забрать не дали. Обещанного десерта мы тоже не успели увидеть.
**Worst New Year's experience ever** The organisation was ridiculously bad! There were not enough seats for customers who had already paid the €160+ per person for a dinner. There was way too little food and we only had the first course, because we then had to leave for the boat tour (which was in the package). So we took some bread where we could, as it was the only thing to eat. Oh, and after approx. 15 minutes, they also turned off the fire alarm. Location is quite beautiful, the organization, service and food was APPALLING.
