Built in sixteenth century, Convento dei Frati Minori is one of the oldest architecture in Leverano. This convent building was built in Baroque style. Talking about the structure of this convent, it has a rectangular shape. There are 24 ogives on the polygonal columns. Throughout the walls of the building, you will see frescoes displaying various biblical stories and the stories of different Saints. The convent had been closed till 1935 due to some religious orders. When it was reopened, it was handed over to the minor Friars.
