My grandparents had a year round camp and I had many great years growing up here. It doesn't get much better than this if your looking for country and beauty this is your place. I guess if I had one word to describe it, it would be serenity.
Beautiful, easy jaunts through the woods!
Winter hiking recommend trails. Parking lot is packed dirt, and looks adequate for numerous cars. We did the Long Pond Trailhead. Start of the trail is hilly, but then becomes level for most of the way. We only did 4 miles round-trip. No snowshoes, or anything resembling adequate winter gear. One word of caution: this is prime snowmobile trails. Hope to come here next year with some proper gear and do the full trail.
I expected a bigger waterfall
Nice hike. A bit too man made. Little to non scenic views though
