Beach Plum Island State Park Reviews & Ratings
Great simple beach park. Very pretty and bot busy at all.
I'm not sure what type of insects they were (green flies) but they made the time not enjoyable because of being bit so much. Tide was very high at one point almost taking over the beach. Oh shipwreck ain't much more like canoe wreck
$10.00 out of state fee. Not a problem. Anything to keep these types of places alive and accessible. You need a permit to drive on the beach to surf fish and it looks like this is a very popular thing to do. They have an air station to put air back into your tires when you leave (lower the pressure upon entering). Very few folks overall and no commercial activities. There looks to be some nice (not really that many) rental homes available just before you enter the park.
Great surf fishing!!!!
Good place to get away from the crowd at the other beaches and spend time with the family
