This is yet another museum in Lewes. Lightship Overfalls (LV-118) was the last lightvessel constructed for the United States Lighthouse Service which is currently preserved in Lewes as a museum ship. A restored lightship, this museum is definitely worth the visit.

  • Just visited this park for the first time a few days ago. Absolutely gorgeous at night with lights strung everywhere! Very clean and family friendly. I would love to come back during the day to get a tour of the ship.

  • Volunteers provide tours of the ship that last 30-40 minutes. There is also a small gift shop and museum. The only way to go into the ship is his a tour. In 2019, tours cost $5 for adults, children 14 and under a free. The tour guides provide facts of the ship as well as a few stories. Highly recommend the tour .

  • What a fun day, thank you to the wonderful tour guide. She was friendly and fun.

  • Great little stop for families. The play ground is really cute with some great photo opps. You can also find a few of the local National Parks passport stamps here.

  • Ship shape and ready to tour! The Overfalls is a local treasure and the locals have done much to preserve it! There is a foundation that had this historic ship completely refurbished recently. An amazing amount of history is told here told by an army of volunteers! Even more is the adjacent park including an extensive young children playground, benches to watch boats on the canal and a dock to welcome boats and to fish. Come visit soon!
