Kentucky Horse Park - Review
Learn all about horses at the Kentucky Horse Park. It is both a house farm and an educational theme park dedicated to the equestrians. Here you can interact with some of the best Thoroughbreds in the county. These breeds are exhibited in the Parade of Breeds Shows. Horse and pony rides are also available in the park. Visitors can take walking barn tour to understand how these animals are looked after. A variety of activities are organised for kids to be involved in the farm. There is an inhouse museum that documents the history of horses and horse breeding. Some of the most popular breeds have been immortalised in memorials and statues around the park. Children visiting Lexington can have a blast at this horse park.

Kentucky Horse Park, Lexington Reviews
Absolutely stunning place. Horse stalling facilities are clean and the barns are well maintained. Easy to access water spigots and manure dumping areas. Wash racks are well maintained and serve their purpose. Grounds are CLEAN and the arena footing is world class! This is absolutely my favorite place to show and even just walk around to see the museums and other park attractions. This is a top tier facility everyone should try and show at at least once in their life!
In fairness, I am not a big horse lover and it was a school day, but I would say it was OK, not great. Not all the horses were there to see and the farrier and tack shops were not staffed. The museum is awesome and worth the price of admission though. Food in their restaurant was surprisingly good. Overall a good visit, but with a few tweaks, could have been better.
What fun on a weekday when kids are back to school. I say this because my mother, 72, was with me. Very thorough map and description of grounds. Can visit barns on own and a live horse show was the capper. Beautifully kept grounds, and the price was reflective. More than I thought but horse care is VERY expensive so worth it to see former champions in such good professional care.
I enjoyed this park. It was great to see how well these beautiful animals are cared for. You can spend the good part of the day here. A really nice little museum, a lot of info and history to learn and a few shows too. Definitely worth the visit.
Seeing the woman I love in this park was amazing. She adores horses and my dream one day is to see her ride one. This walk and view park was a fresh view for her and the look on her face was well worth coming. I have seen joy on her before and this was indeed the sight she had on her face as went to the different areas to view the shows and have her pet the animals. If you have someone who is interested in horses, take them here. I am looking forward to bringing her back when the Kentucky Derby is on. That should be a real treat
