Great place!!! I've always wanted to come here & it was TOTALLY worth it. Museum is HUGE with so much cool info! Awesome to get to interact with the horses & see all the ones buried there. Beautiful statues!!!
Plenty of shows, live stabled horses to get up close to. Very educational and enjoyable. Horses are friendly and we loved petting them. Many different breeds to see. Trolley ride was nice also. Very clean, well cared for in every way. If you like horses this is the place to come see. Museums were impressive as well.
Wished we had more time to view museum. They were in process of setting up Xmas lights. It's going to be awesome
Enjoyed our visit to the Kentucky Horse Park. In the "Horse capital of the world", you would definitely expect a Horse Park and it doesn't disappoint. Our visit was short , but in short period, we went to Horse museum and really enjoyed the history of how horse has aided in the progress of human civilization. The display in the musuem is in chronological order from 30,000 BC to current day, showcasing the usage of horse in hunting, farming, transportion, war , etc.
So expensive! I brought some out of town in-laws with me, ya know to kinda show of Kentucky a little. But they wanted $20/person and we didn't have all day to spend there looking at everything. It's smarter to during the Northern Lights Christmas lights drive through they have. It's $20/ car load plus you get to walk around. They do Christmas right. Might be busy but worth the money.
