Kentucky has plenty of scenic byways and the one closest to Lexington is the Old Frankfurt Pike. The road stretches almost for 20 miles from the town of Frankfurt to Lexington. Most of the rood falls in the Woodford Country and passes through some extremely beautiful horse farms. Equally beautiful are the limestone rock walls, another characteristic of this area. Most of this road is lined by trees that make it a delight to see. Driving under these trees is as dreamy as it sounds. Tourists can often get views of the rolling hills in the distance, completing the setting.
