West Sixth Brewing - Review
One of the youngest yet quite a popular landmark to spend an evening in Lexington is the West Sixth Brewing taproom. Located in the premises of The Bread Box Bakery in the heart of town, this taproom is famous for its beers made in-house. They have brewed a beer for almost all prevalent tastes in Kentucky. There are around 15-16 types of beer that can be sampled in the taproom in Lexington. This beer is also supplied to restaurants and other bars in the state. Some of the best brews are the West Sixth IPA, the Lemongrass American Wheat and the Pay It Forward Cocoa Porter. The first and the third are the signature brews of this brewery. Seasonal beers are also available in the taproom. They make this according to public demand.

West Sixth Brewing, Lexington Reviews
Living in a tourist town at the beach (30a) we try to find great local haunts when we travel and we have a new fav for when we are in Lexington. The seats alone would bring me back but the beer flights are fun to try new flavors. Raspberry sour reigning supreme for me personally right now.
I have watched West Sixth grow ever since they opened and it’s always a place I go back to whenever I visit Lexington. I trust everything they produce - you absolutely can’t go wrong. They have gradually started putting out more and more special releases and limited runs of canned beer (which is all usually also on tap). Not to mention service is always great. There’s one bartender here who I believe has been with them from the very beginning, who, even when a year passes by between visits, will recognize me and ask how I’m doing and what I’ve been up to. My favorite brewery in Lexington.
Spacious brewery with yard games indoors. Plenty of variety across the taps including their flagships and rotating taps. Jumbo souvenir glasses for many of the beers. Food trucks and their own kitchen. Outdoor patio seating away from the sun during the evening. Great for groups or small parties. Big projector screens for watching sports.
Nice local brewery in a cool relaxed spot right out of the center of town. Staff was friendly and beer was not my style but okay. Nice place to hang out.
As much as you can find West Sixth products throughout Kentuck, nothing beats going to a brewery. If you go there, call ahead to find out the brewery tour times, because it is well worth it. One of the few places that have a brewery and sell food, so come here hungry and thirsty. Order a flight and donate money to charity
