Spread over an area of 1,300 hectares, Initao–Libertad Protected Landscape and Seascape is a protected area in Philippines. This center was established in the year 2002, and also includes the famous theme park, Lasang Secret Adventure Park, within its boundaries. An initiative by the government to promote eco-tourism, this site has successfully played an important role in this project. Preserving and protected the final members of the old-growth forests in Misamis Oriental, people often visit this reserve to see these archaic trees. Home to a number of birds and animals, this place is a paradise for all photographers. Some of the animals and birds that you may spot include emerald dove, monitor lizard, little slaty flycatcher and the Philippine python. Also abundant in marine life, you will find in the waters here sea catfish, flying fish, parrotfish and more!
