It’s not the biggest or the grandest of zoos, but when you’re getting to see 400 animals over a hundred species for free, then you really can’t complain. The zoo is actually quite a cute way to spend the day, especially if you’ve got kids. It’s free entrance actually draws a lot more visitors the you’d expect: 1.4 million annually, making it the 4th most popular recreational attraction in France. The animals include farm animals, game animals, peacocks and grizzly bears. It’s seven exhibits are the Alley Aviary (usually birds of prey), Tropical House (a few reptiles), the Valley of Apes, Lands of America, Lands of Africa, Madagascar and Lands of Asia. And pandas too, serving as the welcoming committee.

Parc De Zoologique, Lille Reviews - Write a Review
The zoo is no longer free for everyone, but it is still worth the reasonable price of admission. See the picture for individual and group pricing. The zoo has an impressive variety of animals from around the world (love the sloth). The staff was friendly and taught visitors about the animals they were feeding. The animals are well taken care of and the zoo is very clean. A nice place to spend a couple of hours.
Great value for money and some fantastic animals with meerkats being my favourite. Not a large zoo but made really presentable enhancing our visit getting really close to some of the animals.
How long does it take to issue tickets for a zoo? Stood in a queue of three for ten minutes. Possibly very good but if you can't get the entrance right then what chance the rest?
A very small zoo and animals seem well cared for and happy. Staff are friendly and several speak English. There is no cafe but out of the zoo there are several stalls from which to choose a snack, drink or light meal. They are about a minute away.
Not a bad way to spend a little time. There is now a small charge for visitors that are not from Lille. Plenty to see, animals seemed to be kept OK.
