Fasouri Watermania - Review

With waterparks everywhere, the attractions are pretty standard. You’ll know exactly what to expect. The only thing that sets them apart is how well they do what they do. So it’s really good news when you hear that this one has the biggest wave pool in Europe and a really long lazy river. Quick staff, good food, spotless environment are only the perks. There’s a massage parlour, a tattoo parlour, a fish spa, a souvenir shop and locker facilities. As for the rides themselves, a huge variety of slides, paddle boating, a Tarzan swing, a wet wall climb, bungee jumping, a free fall kamikaze  - they didn’t hold back in designing the park.

  • Excellent water park.... Very clean...helpful staff....we went at the end of the season so no queues at all. Food whilst not cheap was not extortionate..... Good rides for the smaller children under 6 as well.

  • Fantastic waterpark for families. Lots of attractions for all ages. Friendly staff and reasonable prices for food and drink inside. €30 per adult and €17 per child which is good value - I managed to get my rides down to €1 each which gives an indication of the queues - might not manage that on a weekend though! **Just make sure no one has swimming shorts with zips!**

  • Fasouri is a really great place to come if you want a mad break from the Cypriot sunshine. I do think timing is key, however. The slides are exciting and there is enough variety to keep all ages happy. Even the entry criteria for the bigger slides isn't too excessive, as we have found in other places. There are some smaller children's areas, too. These are outstanding and mean you can relax a little bit while they run around. We were a little bit disappointed that there were no pedal boats as there had been previously. A couple of slides were turned off which we put down to the time we went. Which brings me to the top tip: go during the week if possible. It can get really busy here but we went on a Thursday and found it to be practically empty. The food is a little bit expensive for what it is. The staff are actually really good, especially with children. Normally in these sorts of places the staff seem stressed and irritable but we encountered nothing of the sort.

  • Really enjoyed visit. Went during the week when it was quieter and didn't have to queue for anything. Tickets were a bit pricy at €30 per adult.

  • Three of us (aged 23/28/28) thought that this was a worthwhile trip. Wasn't too tacky or busy. Managed to get on all the rides without a long queue. Not the most extreme rides but enough to keep our adrenaline going.
