About Koilani Village, Limassol

A picturesque village close to the banks of Kryos river, Koilani is a classic representation of Cypriote wine-producing villages. The village’s narrow, sloped alleyways are a delight to explore, and there are few things in the country as charming as these cute little houses. Visit the town’s three main churches. Barely 300 people live here now, but they’re more than enough to give you a nicely authentic taste of Cyprus. The food and wine are all local. You ought to spend a night here – few places in the country are as peaceful. If you’re visiting around October, make sure to catch the Afamia, the local festival. In November, there is a wine festival.
