Lindos experiences a transitional climate similar to Greece's Dodecanese Islands. The weather often ranges from temperate to dry tropical conditions.

• Summer (May – August): Summers are generally hot, dry and long. The temperature shoots up to 27°C in May and August is the hottest month when the temperature crosses thirties.
• Winter (December – February): Winters in Lindos are mild and damp, January being the wettest month of all. The temperature drops around 13°C on an average low.
• Spring (March – April): These months begin to see a rise in temperature slowly.
• Autumn (September – November): Tourists still visit the city during the early autumn because it’s pleasant, but the weather keeps getting wetter by the day.

Set the days and month of your holiday properly on your itinerary planners, because the city is closed down after October. The best time to visit Lindos is between April and October.
