Hrad Lipnice Nad Sazavou in one of the largest and most beautiful Czech castles that was founded by the prominent lords of Lichtemburk in the early 14th century. Somewhere around the 16th century, it was then converted into a magnificent Late Gothic residence. Upon visiting, you would get the chance to enjoy a free sightseeing tour of the significant medieval architecture, the Gothic chapel, the extensive cellars and more. The castle did get burnt down in 1869 but was then renovated partially in the 20th century. A visit to Hrad Lipnice Nad Sazavou would remind you of the famous Czech kings and perhaps even some of the mysterious stories.
