Had lunch on the inner hidden patio, tho the restaurant itself was beautiful and old. Food was great, and authentically Portuguese with a modern twist. The wine was also excellent, from the Duoro Valley. I never would have noticed the restaurant but it was part of a culinary walking tour of Lisbon, and I'm glad I got an opportunity to eat there!
Chose this place based on a recommendation in a food guide. Arrived at 1pm on a Thursday. Place was quite empty with a few other tables only. Service was good. However, the dishes we ordered did not meet expectations. The shrimp bisque was far too salty, and the roasted octopus with chickpea mash was visually impressive but lacking in flavor. Much better food options elsewhere in Lisbon. Do not recommend.
Nice vaulted ceiling in an airy space. We had the tofy/seitan dish and the quinoa salad (that is warm!). Real delicious. Great service from friendly smiling people. We called 20 min before and got a table (2 Jan). Cheesecake with red berries lovely. Mikkeler alcohol free is such a lovely beer too!
Went here on a date. Food and drink was really nice. My date was rubbish though.
Amazing food, good prices and a very friendly service. The mushroom and the octopus where amazing, came back twice in a row for these dishes. Lots of wines to choose from
