This historical sailing warship is significant in multiple ways. Built in in 1845, it was the last of its kind; travelled over a hundred thousand miles of ocean; and was the last ship to make the India Run from Portugal. Burned down to a husk in and breached in the River Tagus in 1963, it was restored to grandeur in 1990. Now it’s a living museum ship.

Fragata Don Fernando I I E Gloria Reviews & Ratings
For just €4 you can access all (4) levels of the ship. It tells an interesting story about life on board during the voyages
Worth a visit, we had a look round today and had the place to ourselves, very interesting and not a rip off to get in
If you like old ships then better set aside few hours to explore. Well restored and maintained.
Great hidden gem in Lisbon, well restored Frigate. We didn’t stay for long, but at €4 each it’s great value for money
Nice museum in former battleship. It is a pity that lacks an audio guide for better understanding of the different gears of the ship
