  • My favorite beach in Portugal. I wanted to visit from the first time I arrived in Lisbon but couldn't. I travelled for a long time to get to it. It is beautiful with cliffs surrounding the location and it has reefs, or the cliff formation in the middle of the water. The amazing cliffs surround the beach. The sand is soft and there is a lot. The beach is wide and it is long. There is what seems like a secret winding passage leading to the beach created from stone and wood for fences. It is the most beautiful beach I have seen in Portugal.

  • Very nice beach that you can reach after a small walk. Parking is quite crowded if you arrive later than 12. A lot of tourists but the beach is big enough. The views are amazing. Worth a visit.

  • Justifiably described as one of the best 100 beaches in the world for its scenery & views; minus one star for the crowds & accompanying urinating behaviour of some.

  • Very nice beach but rather small. Quite a few steps to walk down from the parking lot. There is one restaurant down by the beach which also has toilets. Ice cream stands up by the parking lot.

  • Lots of caves. Great place for snorkeling and cliff jumping.
