  • Museum is very well designed and English speaking guide was well prepared. She was talking with enthusiasm and jokingly, which added great atmosphere. There was “yellow submarine” with movie screens around us, which was also cool. Wet collection as well as living one were great, nerpas especially :)

  • Interesting experience. The museum itself is not that big, but describes clearly baikal lake features, its history, flora and fauna. There are also nice aquariums where you can see local fish from the lake and nerpas (baikal seals). Also the virtual submarine experience (which is an extra ticket) is really cool and worthy experience. Also available in English.

  • Excellent museum, a bit old-fashioned, but history, geology and biology of the Baikal Lake is perfectly explained. Our guide, Anna, was very friendly and spoke English fluently what is not that obvious in Siberia ;)

  • This is a small museum and I had an English speaking guide with me. I don't know if they provide them in the museum itself. Interesting to see the unique flora and fauna of the region. It is small and perhaps could go into more detail but I enjoyed it. Even the aquarium at the end was good. Loved the 2 seals.

  • The submarine attraction was fun and real I even had a little motion sickness. We came there pretty late so we only had time to see first floor and the submarine experience. Will visit it again to see the rest of it! The nerpas are really cute, but it feels like the aquarium is too small for them, although it's the biggest among others.
