The Clintons served as a governor of the state and for two terms in the 1980s. Their daughter Chelsea was born in Little Rock. Winthrop Rockefeller, grandson of John D. Rockefeller, served as a Republican governor of Arkansas and resided in Little Rock. What makes this city popular today is that this is one of the best places to go on a vacation with your family. Much of the activities held here are group or family oriented and hence, families often spend much of their time out here. Kids can have fun on their own while adults sit back and relax.
