Little Rock’s art affair continues with the presence of the Butler Center Retail Gallery. The Central Arkansas Library System has its very own art program that is implemented in the premises of the Arkansas Studies Institute. Known as the Butler Center, it houses four art galleries, a retail gallery, and classrooms to educate young artists. The center focuses mainly on the work done by artists in Arkansas or have done work related to the state. Exhibitions of the paintings in the institute’s collection are displayed as a part of rotating exhibitions. Every second Friday of the month sees the after-hours gallery walk in Little Rock. Butler Center is a part of the trail. You can buy artworks from this gallery.

Butler Center Galleries Reviews & Ratings
This place is amazing! I love the range of artists that they have. After visiting I feel so proud to be an Arkansan. What a precious gem in the heart of downtown!
The Galleries have the best handmade cards and locally made art. If you want to give a unique gift, this is the perfect place to shop. And they have new exhibitions and art all the time. The exhibitions are free to view.
One of the best free things to do in town - frequently changing exhibits of art and history related to Arkansas, as well as a retail gallery with a wide variety of Arkansas made arts and crafts. Fantastic paintings, wood and ceramic sculpture, fiber arts, T-shirts, cards and jewelry at all price points. The Concordia Hall gallery usually has exhibits about the Japanese internment camps that were located in Arkansas during WW2, and the floor is a patchwork of different woods from Arkansas. Great spot - I always take my out-of-town guests here.
Great place for some amazing art!
If you want to buy a one of a kind art piece by a local artist, this is a good place to go. Also a good place to walk around and look at unique art pieces. Very reasonable prices and all kinds of artwork from jewelry to canvases.
