One of the best ways to move around Little Rock is by taking the River Rail Electric Streetcar. There are two routes – the Blue Line and Green Line – on which the street car plies. The Blue Line moves around town and crosses the Arkansas River to go to North Little Rock. The Green Line covers stops only in Little Rock. The fares of the streetcar are relatively cheap and it is a comfortable way of moving around town. The streetcar is basically a replica of the vintage trolley that has been updated to suit modern passenger needs. There are stops outside of or close to the major tourist attractions in Little Rock. They are installed with benches and shelters to ensure the comfort of the passengers even when they are waiting for the streetcar. Some of the stops also have electronic boards that display arrival times of the next trolley. Try this unique way of transportation at least once when you are in Little Rock.
