The Riverfront Park in Little Rock is a complete lesson in outdoor activities. Situated right on the banks of the Arkansas river near the River Market, the park’s 33-acre area is divided into leisure activities, outdoor games and a little of the city’s historical landmarks. The famous rock formations from which Little Rock derives its name were originally located in what is known today as La Petit Roche Plaza in the Riverfront Park. Younger visitors to the park can check out the Peabody Park. They will find recreational activities like underground tunnels, stone-climbing, slides and spray pads. The amphitheatre in the park is a popular location for outdoor events. You can do either of these activities or head to the junction bridge to watch the river flowing from underneath.

  • You can check out the rose gardens, the Sunken Plaza or the Ozark Pavilion for spending some time relaxing with your family.
  • These locations are good options for a riverside picnic.

  • Light Rail Station : River Market

  • Love this park! Great scenery. Great play area for the kids. different than any play area i’ve seen anywhere else. A mix of underground passages, beautiful boulders. Slides and ladders and more. Plus the splash pad! And the statues and sculptures in the area are interesting and seem to capture the spirit of Arkansas. Excellent place to go walking. And don’t forget to go in the River Market building and try some of the vendors there. International and local foods and a great indoor food court area!

  • I love this park because if the proximity to the River Market concession eatery and other restaurants near. This is a relaxing area, well kept and safe during the day. Feed the birds from a bench, shop til ya drop and seek out the awesome entertainment at night...all in one park. And...the Riverfront Bridge holds a lot of viewers at once as the bridge lights change colors at night. Have fun.

  • SO many fun options. There was an amazing Farmer's market on the August Saturday morning we were there. Pet friendly, our pup had a great time!

  • Great place to go. Lots of enjoyable places there, has a "nature walk", charging outlets, two splash pads... Its an art garden a little further down the path and it is Gorgeous. Great place the go and clear your head. Just a little light note there are a few people actually staying in the park but they won't bother you. One of my favorite parks.!!

  • I enjoyed visiting there the only downfall is that they charge $5 for parking and to sight see. I guess they hve to.make money some way.
