The Riverfront Park in Little Rock is a complete lesson in outdoor activities. Situated right on the banks of the Arkansas river near the River Market, the park’s 33-acre area is divided into leisure activities, outdoor games and a little of the city’s historical landmarks. The famous rock formations from which Little Rock derives its name were originally located in what is known today as La Petit Roche Plaza in the Riverfront Park. Younger visitors to the park can check out the Peabody Park. They will find recreational activities like underground tunnels, stone-climbing, slides and spray pads. The amphitheatre in the park is a popular location for outdoor events. You can do either of these activities or head to the junction bridge to watch the river flowing from underneath.

Riverfront Park, Little Rock Reviews - Write a Review
One of our favorite places in Little Rock. Its a great place to go play at the splash pad and on the playground. The sculpture garden is beautiful as well as the bridges. There are two walking bridges and all the bridges light up at night. People come out to cycle, board, and enjoy special events at the amphitheatre. Just an all around great outdoor space.
A great riverside park with outdoor art, nice river views two splash playgrounds and a neat kids park designed for climbing with ropes, walls, Rocks and tunnels... and a very large slide to get back down... rather awesome really....
I love this park because if the proximity to the River Market concession eatery and other restaurants near. This is a relaxing area, well kept and safe during the day. Fees the birds from a bench, shop til ya drop and seek out the awesome entertainment at night...all in one park. And...the Riverfront Bridge holds a lot if viewers at once as the bridge lights change colors at night. Have fun.
The playground is fun for older kids, like 6+ or so. The sidewalks make it a great place to walk or ride. The splash pad is fun, even if it's crowded at times. Our whole family likes to go.
Lots to do here for people of any age. Nice walking trail with great view of the river, splash pad and playground for the kids. Close to farmers market. Concerts at times at the bandshell. Great place to watch 4th of July Fireworks on the river.
