Built in the 1500s, the present Croxteth House is perhaps only a fraction of what was an original estate of the Molyneux family- the Earls of Sefton. Inhabited by the last of the heirs till 1972, the place now remains open for public and is a famous attraction in Liverpool. The elegant architecture, the fabulous gardens and just the general feel of the place are sure to make you believe you have walked right into Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice!
