  • I really liked this museum. Housed in an attractive ultra modern building, close to the old docks area, it has an airy light feel to it and provides a fascinating insight into Liverpool's commercial and cultural past. It REALLY is worth a half day visit by all visitors to this amazing city. It has something to please and inform all age and interest groups. Thoroughly recommended together with a most informstive and entertaining walking tour of the city and its nearer suburbs.

  • Great experience, very new architectural building positioned in a great location. A lot of info about the Liverpool life connected to the docks life as well as local LGBT community, historical sites backing up thousands of years. They also have a learning centre for the kids. Our 7 years old daughter enjoyed all the experience there as well as us the adults.

  • Excellent range of exhibitions. Staff were helpful and all located in a great building in a great location. Really enjoyed visiting and definitely recommend it

  • Nice museum. Learnt a lot about Liverpool's history on our visit here. It looks like work is still on going on the building but I like the space and the light and I love the way they show you some of the best bits about Liverpool. I have new found respect for the city and it's people after being there.

  • Striking outside, informative in. Interesting building, a great landmark of the city which contrasts the old. The inside is informative, interesting, clean and free. Would visit again.
