  • On a quiet Sunday this was a lovely place to have a rest in the shade, there were local dog walkers who were very respectful of those who had come to sit quietly and the views were lovely. An interesting place to look at and discover and a wonderful use of a historical building to create a wonderful public space. A pity about garbage being left by previous visitors.

  • Found seating, shade a nice breeze, & some peace & quiet from the madness of the City !!.

  • The fort is fine, and little Venice just around the corner is a lovely place with good restaurants. It's not with staying in Livorno for more than a day though, because there's not very much to do there.

  • Dirty, abandoned, forgotten place, stinking with piss and dirty water around, garbage absolutely everywhere, getting even worse in the neighbouring “old city” which in fact is just a collection of dirty and vandalised tenant houses, otherwise boring and really not suitable for sightseeing. I came here because I was told it is the “small Venice”. I suspect the guy who told me that never been to Venice. I left disappointed after 2h of looking for the lovely Italian town which simply isn’t there

  • A lovely place for a stroll in the shade and to admire the lively views of this interesting city. We loved the vibrant colours around the moat/canal and watching life in this small city.
