Visit the Modernist Cemetery and you will realize how even a burial place can be a piece of art. The cemetery was designed at the end of the 19th century and it took a long time to get it completed. Opened in the year 1901, Modernist Cemetery is like an open art gallery showcasing a number of sculptures by artists like Josep Puig I Cadafalch, Bonaventura Conill I Montobbio, and Antoni M. Gallissà. You can clearly see the traces of Indian culture at the cemetery with the help of its array of sculptures.
