One of the most important historical sites to visit in the town of Lonsboda in Sweden’s Solgatan is the Backstuga. With a history that is mired in the late 19th century when the backstuga, or the cottage, became a symbol of rural poverty, the Backstuga, more popularly known as ‘Lastar-Sven’ is a rustic cottage that has become a popular tourist attraction.
