Iglesia de Santa Maria de Palacio is a Gothic style church in Logrono which was built during the 12th and 13th century and partially rebuilt in the 15th century. However, the renovations have now made it difficult to tell the style and appearance of this magnificent structure. The church has a classic altarpiece with the figure of the Assumption of our lady, which was created in the 16th century. The church has a four part tower which is a pyramid look-alike designed in Gothic style. The cloister of the Church of Santa Maria de Palacio is a part of the Diocesan Museum. This peaceful attraction is a must visit in the city of Logrono.

Beautiful church. Some elements of original Gothic interior survived but majority of altar pieces are baroque. Admission is free but any donation is welcomed and highly appreciated. Visitors are allowed to take non commercial photo without flash light.
Lo que más llama la atención de la iglesia es su torre en forma de cono de helado al reves y un pararrayos en forma de aguja. En su interior un retablo principal mucho más rico que el de la propia catedral, cosa que tiene sentido ya que fué mandada construir por el rey de reyes donando un palacio para ello
iglesia muy interesante con unos retablos que merecen ser visitados. se pueden hacer fotografias sin problemas
