  • I love how you can taste every single cheese they have for purchase. Great local cheese maker and get requests from my friends out of the area for cheese purchases to take to them! So glad there is a little restaurant right next door now too

  • There is a sample for nearly every cheese they sell here. There were a few cheeses I wasn't a big fan of, but a few that were quite amazing. Not all of these are their own, but they're all within the theme of a small dairy farm, and seemingly relatively local. Second time here, and I still look forward to another visit. The grilled cheese place in the back is worth a visit, as well, but that's another review.

  • Great cheese shop. Whenever we come to Arcata.. we always stop here for cheese... on the way south and then again going south. Best cheese around.

  • It was so quaint, very friendly. Queso Kings is a small restaurant inside that gives you a great experience of what cheeses this factory has to offer. Or you can buy any cheeses you'd like at their counter. They have a beautiful garden out back to eat your lunch or just to admire. I'd come back any time I'm rolling down 101. Bob, who I presume is the owner, was so gracious and welcoming. Great place!

  • Great place if you like cheese, and who doesn't enjoy quality cheese. If you're hungry try one of the custom grilled cheese sandwichs and enjoy it in the beautiful garden out back, and be sure to stop and smell the antique roses.
