Highline Lake State Park, Loma Reviews
Such a nice state park. Always so clean. Fun place to picnic, swim, and hang out on a summers day. You can also go on an outing on your boat and fish but in a separate lake. I love it! Nice shady grass areas with trees and tables, then a beach to play on and nice cool water to swim.
I love swimming there but there are fish in the water so if you dont like fish very much you might not want to go there
This is a great little lake! The area near the beach is grassed with tree's and picnic tables. The swimming area is a great place to beat the heat. You can use the charcoal grills to BBQ something yummy while your kids are playing in the water. The lake is fun for boating, although it can get crowded on the weekends. Boats are required to cruise around the lake counter clockwise.
They put me in a camp site with no cook grill or fire pit. I had an electrical box with a padlock on it. Not at all happy with the accommodations!!! Or the treatment of the so-called park help! Will not come back or recommend this place to friends!
Always have a good time and a great experience every time I go!
