Ryewood Park - Review
Named after an English officer Mr. Rye, this park is spread over an enormous area of 25 acres. Initially established as a botanical garden, very few old trees and rare flowers of the old times can be observed today. Dotted with towering trees and beds of beautiful flowers, Ryewood Park is perfect for a day-out or a lazy afternoon picnic. There is a Mahadev temple within the park which can be explored during the visit.
The small wooden benches and perfectly serene environment make it ideal for a family outing.

Ryewood Park, Lonavala Reviews
Ryewood Park, sprawling over 25 acres, is located close to the Lonavala market. This park was initially a botanical garden, during the years of service of 'Mr. Rye', who was an English officer. The park was later re-constructed with decade old trees and ornamental flowering plants. Abundant in floral variety, the park has tall trees with an ancient Mahadev (Shiva) Temple, located within the premises. Spacious open spaces to sit and relax, green grass, flowers and swings are amongst the highlights of the park.
A beautiful garden with ancient trees.... Small lawn area where you can go with your picnic basket...... Natural shade of thick trees even during hot afternoon sun, lot of spots for candid snaps!
Deserted and abandant park which is a far cry from any place of attraction. Never visit. A complete waste of time.
Not very exciting to visit. Just some plantation like area having big trees. Wont miss much if not visited
It's not actually a park. In fact we had problems locating it. And it was somewhere lost between the small shops and restaurants that have mushroomed amidst the otherwise quiet city.
