Tungarli Lake, Lonavala Reviews
We were here when monsoon had just hit the land. There was fog all around couldn't see more than 10 meters. Was very cold around and we had a chai from one of the local hawker there. the tea was spicy though( more of ginger then tea leaves) but we liked it much as the weather there was so soothing with rain showers, fog and cold all around. We enjoyed the view of the lake, but not much when compared to Pawna lake. The lake was slightly red watered, I assume the water level were touching the bottom. The land was much exposed due to low level of water and the greenery was visible across the meadow. Also didn't miss a view from the dam. On one side it was deep valley towards a road passing by and on the other there was water and not missing the important factor adding to the fun was heavy cold breeze. I am not sure how popular is this place around, we saw only 2 to 3 groups present there by until we left the lake.
A serene atmosphere in monsoon with very cold breeze n foggy weather ,an awesome place to visit with a beautiful view of lonavala
A nice place to visit..had been in this place in the month of Feb..though it was hot, there was a cool breeze which was refreshing. It can be called as a photographer's paradise but the sad part is that the place is littered with beer bottles broken and cigarette packets dumped just near the water..you have to be very careful while walking..ideal place for a day picnic but need to carry your own food and water as there are no shops nearby for the same..not advisable to go into the water as it is very deep and you might come across locals who will warn you if they see you entering into the lake..very very calm a if you are ready to ignore all the broken pieces of bottles and cigarette packets littered, this is one of the best places to visit in Lonavala..cheers✌️
Wow! Amazing site seeing. Good place to enjoy
Hidden gems inside Lonavala. One of the best place to visit to have precious time with your loved once. Very few people aware of this place. Not so much crowded and best sunset view. You will also meet local people other than tourist people.
